Day in central london raising awareness and money
On the 31st of January, Eunoia set out to fundraise and raise awareness on the streets of central london. Even in the freezing winter day, with non-stop rain and snow, we walked around Oxford Street, Regent Street, Picaddily Circus and more, seeking for freezing cold shoppers. We had the opportunitry to see that there are many giving and caring people out there! So much was asked about the charity and Eunoia always found a way to relate to members of the public. Knowing that most shoppers would be tourists we put the culturally diverse nature of our team to use and spoke to tourists in German, Swedish, Spanish and even Chinese. Eunoia knew those who donated deserved something in return so for every £1 or more donated we gave them a pair of handwarmers for their kindness. It was a brilliant day of fund-raising and awareness raising !
The Valentine's Day SALE!!
On the 12th of February, Eunoia had a Valentine's Day Cupcake sale. Dont let the name deceive you ! Our food varied from Krispy Kremes to well enjoyed Chocolate Fountain. We also had Millie's cookies, cuocakes, chocolate instruments and of course bowls of even more chocolate with strawberries & marshmallows skewers.The day was filled wuith laughter, music, food and we cven witnessed a mini chcocalate explosion ! We managed to raise £111 whilst having an absolute blast!! We made sure that North London Collegiate had a Valentine's day ( full of food) to remember for a long time while reminding them that there are children out there who do not have this opportunity and raise awareness about the Wings of Hope cause.
